Excellent assessment. Would it be better if he still stood and got beaten in another election? He'd scream 'fix' and 'fraud' but at least it would show the country and the world, he's not wanted. I know there is the risk he could get back in and pardon himself - then we'd see some politically motivated revenge cases.
