Great point to make, Maryan. I am constantly ashamed of the litter in Scotland (not up north in the Highlands, they keep the place immaculate). I put it down to lack of pride. That's somethign they don't teach in schools here - they do in Japan, it's spotless there. Everyone takes their litter home. You don't even see a dirty car. Pride.
