Thanks for the reality check. I had a heart-stopping moment and had go back to my article to check, What did I say?

Reading it over, I see I didn't make that clear. Amazon won't let me sell my paperbacks for less than it costs to publish and post - print on demand is thus more expensive than mass-market, Yes.

I wrote the article out of frustration. I see many self-published authors get disheartened with lack of sales and I believe their pricing is a major factor.

Many people don't have the money to waste on an author who they have never heard of, they opt for those with social proof. Getting that is difficult.

I'd like to see more succeed. Like you.
