Sure, we’re having cheese and biscuits. Why not?

My №1 son opened his cupboard, searched around at the back and produced a luscious-looking bottle of red. He removed the wax seal, took a corkscrew to it and poured me an ample glass.

I swirled it, eyed the light colouring and nosed its delightful bouquet. A sip was all it took to tell me this wine was special.

Several mouthfuls later, my tastebuds concluded this was the most pleasurable experience they had ever had. Resplendent fruit, rich plum, boysenberries, velvet smooth. Irresistible.
