If I was an investor in medium I'd pay attention to this. I'd probably keep my money in my pocket. Medium is struggling to generate enough income to pay staff and writers fast less investors, it appears.
They are trying their best, I think.

But medium is a fabulous idea. It's a marvelous social site and it is a fantastic writing learning tool. Unbelievable feedback supercharges learning. Better than any course.

I don't want to see it die.

The attrition rate is high, that needs addressed just as much as the acquisition of new members.

Paying readers must be the priority.
