I'm a self-published author and certainly couldn't live off my book earnings. It's a tough gig and my tuppence-worth (and that is all it is worth) highlights the reality.

I get frustrated when I see self-published authors price themselves out of a sale. I want them to succeed.

Maybe you are right, we're not earning very much, so we should make a stance and go for broke?
