It is a good thing Medium is culling spam accounts. I'd like to see them do more. Follower counts mean diddly squat.
If like to see filters Followers removed if they don't read me after a time, say six months.

There are some people following thousands, hoping for a follow back. It's cheeky at best, gaming the system at the other end.
