The funniest thing happened to me on a night out in Edinburgh, Scotland

When I told the story, people laughed so hard the tears ran down their legs. It was so funny I had to issue a medical warning before the telling:

IF YOU HAVE A HEART CONDITION, PLEASE PUT YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR EARS OR THIS COULD KILL YOU.

Well, maybe not, but at least my mates had a good laugh at me.

I wrote it down, stuck it on Quora and since then 19,000+ people have given it an upvote, 259 of those were compelled to comment on how they hurt themselves laughing and 54 shared it. Validation.

A Medium publication rejected it.
