You Noticed Something Wrong

All it took was a quick glance and you focussed on the one number. The odd one. The one that didn’t fit. Everything was nice and neat and orderly until a mischievous monkey added ‘⅓’.

I’ve been doing it with my articles.

Adding the odd little phrase or a paragraph of outright stupidity.

It is nice that some readers noticed and mentioned it. Although, it never ceases to amaze me how many don’t mention it — are they skimming, do they not notice, or do they just ignore it?

Too much off-the-wall nonsense can put people off, but a little mischief — now and again — doesn’t go amiss. It’s fun for you and it can be fun for your reader.

And when you make a mistake, put it down to your mischief-making.
