Wonderfully argued sentiment. As an outsider, I look at the US with morbid curiosity. Scotland's last mass school shooting, Dunblane, was 25 yrs ago- we changed the laws and it hasn't happened again. I was there. I've written about it and can't believe the stupidity of those who are against regulation. I've been foolish enough to engage with the argumentative bastards, but do so because people matter.
